Speaking of stages, did you know that the Walkup Skydome – NAU’s home arena – sits at 7,000 feet above sea level? That’s one of the highest-altitude college basketball venues in the US; giving the Lumberjacks a home-court advantage like no other. So, throw on your blue and gold, grab a burger, and cheer like never before!

Your Game Day Check-List

Getting ready for game day doesn’t have to be a hassle. With just a little planning, you can turn your watch party into a slam dunk (yep, we love our puns). From snacks to seating, here’s your check-list that you can copy-paste in your notes and share it with everyone around you who would need it:

• Food & Drinks: Whether you’re cooking or catering, make sure there’s enough food for everyone – especially if you plan on sipping more than just soda. Got guests with allergies or dietary restrictions? Double-check and keep everyone happy. And don’t forget the drinks and ice!
• Seating: Comfort is key! Make sure there’s enough seating for everyone to enjoy the game. No one wants to end up sitting on the floor… unless they’re doing it on purpose!
• Game Gear: Stock up on blue and gold gear to support the Lumberjacks – or the right colors for your team. (We promise we won’t judge if you’re not rooting for the Jacks… okay, maybe a little)
• TV & Streaming Setup: Check your Wi-Fi and streaming service ahead of time.
  Pro tip: test the stream on your computer and link it to a projector for a bigger, better game day experience. And make sure your sound system is on point – you’ll want to hear the comments over all the cheering!
• Plates & Napkins: Go for disposable (heavy duty) plates and napkins to make cleanup a breeze. More time to enjoy the game, less time scrubbing!
• Games & Activities: Keep halftime entertaining with mini basketball hoops, or trivia!
• Trash Bags: Stock up on trash bags for easy cleanup.
  Bonus tip: get everyone to place $5 in a jar when they arrive. If they participate in the cleaning, they get their $5 back. If they’re gone as soon as the game is over, you get to keep the cash!
